Lodging, Accommodations, & Facilities
Spiritual living is easily realized when we are in nature. Like a bee engrossed in the delight of a sweet rose, human beings have more freedom to expand the awareness of their intuitive self when they are at peace amongst their true environment. Only within the last one hundred years has humanity adapted to the compacted, over-crammed settings of mega-cities where skyscrapers and pollution have replaced trees and fresh air. By returning to nature, we are retuning our minds and bodies to the environment from which we came and to which we will return. It is within this setting that we can find harmony and balance without much difficultly, especially when accompanied by spiritual practices and techniques.
Although the divine is present within all of creation, there are some ecosystems within creation that are materialized expressions of the ethereal field of silence. Nature is to intuitive living what cities are to consumptions living. In essence an environment will shape the bodies and minds that inhabit it.
Both nature and metropolises can teach us something about our lives; as a teacher, Nature provides lessons into the organic design of our beings where as a city teaches us about assimilation, tolerance, and integration. But it is only within nature that we find the phenomena of the intuitive design of which we are an integral part of. Cities are composed of brute matter, the consolidation of the natural world into functionally economic production. Their collective conscious is primarily production, trade, and commerce.
To be spiritual in the metropolis is profound because it suggests that we are unwavering in our belief, faith, and devotion to the inner self. But for most of us we require a foundation prior to exposure to the trials of such a world. Like a coconut tree in a hurricane, we should learn the techniques and discipline necessary to be highly flexible and adaptive in our outlook upon life while at the same time stand firmly rooted in soil of our spirituality.
For most people, nature provides the groundwork for realizing the infinite consciousness by observing the awareness that forms the consciousness of nature within the birds and the trees. Once we can see the consciousness within ourselves as an indivisible aspect of mother nature we can then begin to apply this realization to anyone or anything including our the most trying people within our lives.
After establishing a firm foundation in the spirituality a student of the inner life can return freely to the busy world of modern day living without being disturbed or losing sight of the blissfulness within their hearts and minds.
